Following the appointment of a new Technical Support Chemist, SEAL Analytical has established a demonstration and training laboratory at its UK facility in Southampton. SEAL designs and manufactures automated laboratory analyzers, and the new lab will be used for customer training, instrument repairs and method development.

Niamh Cronin started work for SEAL in 2016 and has undertaken a comprehensive program of training in the new United States facility as well as the European site in Germany. She is now utilizing the UK demo lab to enhance the support services provided to the company’s customers in the water, wastewater, marine, agriculture, food and pharmaceutical sectors.

Prior to her appointment at SEAL Analytical, Niamh studied Biomedical Science at Bristol University. She says: “As a technical support chemist I am responsible for servicing both discrete and segmented flow analyzers throughout the UK and Ireland. I also provide technical and application support which includes method development.”
