Hoefer, Inc. has introduced their new SUBHT High Throughput Submarine Gel Electrophoresis Unit. This new unit can run an entire 96-well plate of samples (plus up to 24 control or marker lanes) in 30 minutes. Multi-channel pipette compatible well spacing and labeled gel running tray insure positive ID of loaded samples. A large selection of different combs and accessories allows the user to optimize this unit for their particular application.

There have been many advances over the years to push the throughput of PCR based assays. However, these throughput gains are often lost when traditional electrophoresis is used. The new SUBHT provides rapid, error-free nucleic acid analysis. Quickly loads the contents of an entire 96-well plate in 8 easy steps with a multi-channel pipette.

The UV transparent gel running tray contains fluorescent labels that correspond with every well on the 96-well sample plate. Error- free gel image capture and analysis is simply done by placing this running tray directly on a UV transilluminator.
