Including a wide range of technical enhancements, the Cleaver scientific multisub horizontal range is the newest and most technically advanced range of DNA and RNA gel systems available.

CSL offer five different horizontal units in their multiSUB™ range, which incorporate sixteen different gel tray sizes, and unlike many other electrophoresis units, they benefit from an injection moulded construction which provides a range of important benefits to the user. For example, a stronger, more durable high quality finish to better withstand the demands of the modern laboratory, yet they are lightweight, leak-proof and more competitively priced as a result of lower manufacturing costs. They also look attractive in the lab.

Central to the ease of use of the product is the guaranteed “plug and go” leak proof gel casting system. No agarose plugs or adjustments of gasket as advised by other manufacturers are necessary.

All multiSUB horizontal gel units are sold as complete systems and include all the required accessories. These include UV transparent gel trays with a choice of at least two different gel tray sizes per unit. This is a handy option when using expensive Low melting point agarose – the gel size can be matched to sample number requirements.

The researcher can also choose the types of comb they require at the time of purchase thanks to our free of charge comb substitution policy – again purchasing additional combs is not required and the multiSUB range offers the widest choice of combs available with more comb thickness, sample number, Multichannel pipette compatible and preparative choices. All combs are colour coded for thickness and easy identification, are height adjustable for added versatility and are completely warp proof due to a rigid comb back.

In addition reversible and double sided combs are available complete with either well- loading guide on the reverse side which help to channel the pipette tip into the well, or an additional different sample number comb for economy and space saving.

Two types of viewing guide are included, helping researchers when they come to load their samples.
