New Options for PIKE MIRacle Single Reflection ATR Accessory

22 Nov 2012

PIKE Technologies has greatly expanded the range of attachments for its MIRacle, Single Reflection ATR Accessory. In addition to Diamond, Ge and Si crystal options, a specular reflection plate is now available. Most sampling plates can be temperature controlled via a dedicated digital unit or from a PC with the intuitive PIKE TempPRO™ software. In heated configurations, set point measurements or ramping experiments can be performed to study materials under varying conditions.

The utility of the accessory can be further enhanced by the addition of a liquid retainer or flow-through attachment for working with flowing or difficult samples. A selection of clamps and dedicated pressure tips to accommodate varying sample types is also available. Force applied to solid samples can be monitored with an optional sensor connected to a digital readout, improving reproducibility of the measurement. With the above options the PIKE MIRacle ATR is a complete sample analysis system and is available for all brands of FTIR spectrometers.
