New State-of-the-Art Manufacturing Facility Opened by Randox in Bangalore

Randox Laboratories (India) Private Limited has opened a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bangalore, India. The opening of the purpose built facility marks a focal point in the company’s 30 year history. Randox also has manufacturing facilities in the UK, Ireland, and the U.S, allowing it to produce its innovative diagnostic solutions for the worldwide market.

Over 130 guests were in attendance at the grand opening of the new site which took place in Bangalore on the 12th April. Guests were treated to a formal dinner in the evening where they learnt about several new product releases including the RX daytona plus, the company’s latest chemistry analyzer.

The following day, attendees took part in a comprehensive and insightful tour of the 30,000 sq ft manufacturing plant. The site also includes a 15,000 sq ft area for future development. The impressive facilities include an Adelphi filling machine with an output capacity of 6000 vials per 8 hour shift as well as cold room and room temperature storage facilities with a 24,000 finished kits capacity.

Guests were very impressed with the event and the manufacturing facility itself, with attendees commenting; “It is a well planned facility with international standards”, “A good establishment which will ensure excellent quality and forward planning”. Guests thoroughly enjoyed the new product presentations and were excited to learn about these new developments.
