New Version of Eksigent LC Control Software Expands Quantitation and MS Integration
30 Mar 2006Eksigent Technologies announces a major upgrade to its LC Control Software, delivering expanded quantitation capabilities, ease-of-use features and new mass spectrometry integration. Eksigent Control Software v2.07 works with all the company's NanoLC and ExpressLC systems, and may also be integrated directly with many mass spec vendors' data systems.
Eksigent Control Software v2.07 features a new quantitation module with graphical peak detection and integration, along with simplified system configuration. The software provides full support for the popular Spark Holland Endurance* autosampler as well as CTC Analytics' PAL* family of autosamplers, including the new IFC PAL. Other key capabilities of Eksigent's Control Software include real-time flow rate monitoring, rapid sample loading, integrated peak parking, metered injection and automated diagnostics. The new v2.07 is backwards compatible with data collected using previous versions of Eksigent software ensuring easy upgrade ability.
In addition to integrating seamlessly with Thermo Electron's Xcalibur* and Applied Biosystems/MDS SCIEX Analyst* mass spectrometer platforms and Agilent's EZChrom Elite* chromatography data system, Eksigent's v2.07 adds integration with Bruker Daltonics' HyStar* system. These software drivers allow users to operate the LC and mass spectrometer as one integrated system, for overall improved reliability, ease of use and data integrity. The Eksigent Control Software can also now pass UV signal and spectral data from the ExpressLC-100 to Xcalibur and HyStar for increased security and accuracy.
"We are continually working to enhance our software with capabilities that help our customers make the most of our chromatography platforms," explains Phil DeLand, Senior Product Manager for Eksigent. "This upgrade also delivers more options for seamless integration with the leading mass spec systems."
