Omni International Announces New Bead Mill Homogenizer

Omni International introduces the new Bead Ruptor 24 Bead Mill Homogenizer. Specifically designed for grinding, lysing, and homogenization of biological samples prior to molecular extraction, the Bead Ruptor 24 includes the ability to process volumes ranging from 0.3mL- 5mL. It also has the broadest speed range (2,000-5,000 rpm) and highest disruptive energy of comparable bead mill products.

Advanced carriage motion optimizes bead movement inside the sample tubes increasing processing efficiency and reducing unwanted sample heating. The powerful brushless motor does not require a cool-down period between processing cycles, allowing for more samples to be processed in a shorter period of time.

The convenient front-loading design maximizes laboratory bench space, and the removable tube carrier allows for sample pre-cooling and more efficient sample loading. The Bead Ruptor 24 stores up to 99 programs for standardized and reproducible results, and has an advanced sample temperature monitoring system and a multilingual user interface.
