On Line Peracetic Acid Analysis

Aseptic bottling lines are becoming the norm in soft drink packaging and the sterilizing agent of choice is peracetic acid. Modern bottling lines process thousands of containers per hour and the validation of sterilization is fundamental to quality control.

Conductivity is used for continuous monitoring of the peracetic acid presence but titration provides the reference data for validation.

The ADI 2016 Titro Analyzer from Applikon Analytical BV is designed to bridge the gap between the process and the laboratory by carrying out the analysis on line. At the heart of the analyzer is a precision burette and volumetric sampling system to provide laboratory accuracy within a robust, reliable analyzer.

The ADI 2016 Titro Analyzer will provide analysis for peracetic acid at approximately 10 minute intervals and report data in the required format for total compliance reporting. Housed in an IP66 stainless steel cabinet the ADI 2016 Titro Analyzer is suitable for mounting within the process environment without further protection.
