Pfeiffer announces new magnetically levitated turbopumps, the HiPace M. They cover pumping speeds of 300, 700 and 800 litres per second and achieve high compression ratios for all gases. These pumps are also characterized by their high flexibility in all installation orientations.

Special rotor design affords unlimited rotor service life and dependable operation. Moreover, achievement of Protection Class IP 54, enables these pumps to be employed in industrial environments. The low dynamic magnetic field does not interfere with even highly sensitive nearby equipment. This makes these pumps ideally suited for the stringent requirements of analytical applications. Their broad spectrum of applications includes the analytical industry, coating and semiconductor technology, as well as a variety of applications in research & development and industry.

Integrated electronic drive unit. Optimum integration
The integrated electronic drive unit in the HiPace M reduces the need for costly and cumbersome cabling. Innovative technologies have significantly reduced the power consumption of the drives – a further step toward energy conservation. And runup time, too, has been reduced. This means that the pumps can return to service even faster. Their functional aluminum housings make these pumps extremely light weight. An optional sealing gas connection safeguards the bearings against particulate matter or oxidizing gases. This makes for optimum integration capability. And the quiet, low-vibration operation of these pumps is setting new standard.
