Pittcon 2015 Announces Exposition Highlights

The Pittcon 2015 Exposition, which takes place March 9 -12, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, will include 919 exhibitors (count as of February 19, 2015) displaying products and services used by the scientific community in industrial, academic, and government labs. The Exposition will offer the latest innovations in areas such as, but not limited to, analytical chemistry; drug discovery; nanotechnology; life sciences to include forensics, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics; food analysis and safety; environmental science; energy and fuel; and air, water and wastewater analysis.

New on the expo floor this year is the Food Section. This specialized area includes the following companies that offer products and services typically used by scientists working in food science.

The global exhibition will consist of 249 (approximately 27%) exhibiting companies headquartered in 29 countries outside of the United States such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, China, France, Germany, and Italy. The 504,320 square foot (total footage) exposition floor will include 1,690 booths and 20 seminar rooms (counts as of February 19). This year, Pittcon will be welcoming 127 first-time exhibitors.
