Polarmetrics Corporation Has Released a New Patented FT-IR Gas Cell

Polarmetrics Corporation has released a new patented FT-IR gas cell for the integration into any standard laboratory FT-IR spectrometer. This new low internal volume gas cell is programmable up to 200º C and measures the actual gas temperature for optimal accuracy, precision, repeatability, and reproducibility of your gas measurements. Also, due to the integrated heated sample conditioning, gases are brought to temperature prior to entering the cell.

Optimal fixed pathlengths of 1.2, 2.4, and 3.2 meters are available for low level analysis. Due to the low volume (100 mL) and optimized longitude gas flow design, purge volumes are less than twice (2x) of the gas cell volume itself for less waste of expensive gases.
