PTI Displays Tribute Peptide Synthesizer at Pittcon 2009!

Protein Technologies, Inc. is displaying its newest peptide synthesizer, the Tribute, at Pittcon 2009 in Chicago, IL. First launched in 2007, the Tribute has enjoyed widespread distribution with units located from the United States to Japan and from Australia to Norway.

The Tribute was designed to incorporate the latest cutting edge technology to provide for maximum flexibility and ease of use. It features 2 independent reaction vessels, a 101 position amino acid vial rack, barcode scanning of amino acid vials, vortex mixing, automated cleavage, and a full-color chemical-resistant touchscreen, the first of its kind!

Special features include the Safe-Response feature which automatically drains and rinses your resin with the solvent of your choice when an error occurs, as well as E-mail Notification which can send you an email, or a text message to your phone to notify you about the status of your synthesis, for worry-free operation. Other features include a workstation utility, which allows syntheses to be created on a desktop computer, and then transferred to the Tribute with a USB stick!
