bioMérieux is now supplying the QuickVue range of rapid diagnostic tests worldwide, as part of a long-term global alliance with Quidel Corporation for the development and distribution of rapid clinical diagnostic solutions. Offering fast and cost-effective clinical solutions for point-of-care diagnostic testing, the market-leading QuickVue range of rapid diagnostics tests brings proven quality and reactivity to the detection of infectious diseases.

The QuickVue range includes qualitative detection of influenza type A and type B antigens, a dipstick immunoassay for acute RSV infections and a one-step hCG test, as well as quick and simple tests for H. pylori, Chlamydia, and Streptococcus A infections. In addition, many new tests are in the development pipeline, combining Quidel’s rapid testing capabilities with bioMérieux’s expertise in immunochemistry and extensive library of biologics.
