SANYO has announced preparations for its participation in the 2010 Arab Health Exhibition and Congress to be held from January 25 to 28, 2010, at the World Trade Center in Dubai, UAE. SANYO will highlight its latest line of eco-friendly CO2 Incubators and Preservation Expertise and will demonstrate its key advantages and benefits to participants representing various laboratories and medical facilities in the Middle East, even as the region’s healthcare sector is expected to be worth USD 60 billion by 2025.

The Arab Health Exhibition and Congress is the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East and is also the second largest in the world. The event provides a platform for the world’s leading manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors to meet the medical and scientific community in the Middle East and beyond.

During the event, SANYO will be exhibiting its latest innovations; MCO-80IC, a large-size CO2 incubator, the MCO-19AIC, a medium-size CO2 incubator and the V-1500, Isothermal Freezer, from Custom Biogenic System, USA which compliments the SANYO Preservation portfolio, making it the only total Preservation solution provider. SANYO biomedical products incorporate the latest applied theories and ideas, refrigeration compressors, electronic components, robotic manufacturing and economies-of-scale that directly benefit its target consumers. All products are extensively tested to meet the toughest quality standards in the world and are closely developed with the Think GAIA vision of SANYO. The Arab Health Exhibition will provide SANYO the opportunity to highlight and discuss the wide array of tangible benefits offered by their latest line of biomedical models - from performance and reliability to ergonomics and convenience.

“Motokatsu Sakaguchi, Managing Director, SANYO Gulf FZE” said, “The region’s health and medical industry is looking forward to Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2010, which is considered to be the preferred networking event for the world’s healthcare industry. Acting as a gateway to the region’s rapidly developing medical and healthcare sector, the annual event continues to be the ideal venue to introduce new services and products. Our participation in this year’s edition allows us to showcase SANYO’s latest models. The event not only gives us the opportunity to interact with existing clients and distributors but also presents a platform for us to meet new contacts and prospective clients. Moreover, participating in this year’s event complements SANYO’s continuing efforts to develop precision biomedical and laboratory equipment.”

The V-1500 is a Custom Biogenic System’s Isothermal freezer that utilizes a patented liquid nitrogen jacket to provide uniform storage temperatures in the -190°C range. The unit, which is free from liquid nitrogen contact, offers a design that allows more room for sample storage without the risk of cross contamination. The V-1500 has a capacity of 9.100, 2ml vials or 434 blood bags of 50ml.

The MCO-80IC is ideal for culturing large volumes of patient samples, performing short-term studies, and working with large volume cell culture apparatus. The model incorporates SANYO’s exclusive incubator technologies like inCu saFe interiors, UV decontamination option, and IR CO2 sensor with P.I.D. control. The MCO-80IC also provides the advantage of an exceptionally low CO2 gas consumption.

The SANYO MCO-19AIC is a CO2 incubator designed to meet the demands of regulated applications in biomedical, pharmaceutical, medical research and clinical laboratories. The MCO-19AIC offer high-performance functions in high-value cell handling procedures like hard-to-grow cell lines, cells highly sensitive to contamination, ultra-sensitive media and reagents, or protocols that require a strict isolation and decontamination between processes. It also has an optional Dual Decontamination feature by the use of a H2O2 decontaminant.

SANYO will highlight its latest biomedical and healthcare products at Stand S3E54. Arab Health Exhibition and Congress was established 35 years ago and has since then showcased over 3,900 product categories on exhibit. Last year’s edition achieved record success with over 2,205 exhibitors representing over 65 countries and attracting more than 55,000 participating professionals from all over the world.
