The Spectroquant® Prove Spectrophotometers

Whether you’re analyzing waste water, drinking water, beverages or process water, three factors are important when choosing a spectrophotometer - simplicity, security and durability. The Spectroquant® Prove range of UV/Vis spectrophotometers from MilliporeSigma has a simple, robust design perfect for sensitive analysis.

With three instruments available, you can choose the one most suited to your needs, pre-programmed for a broad range of test kits, such as determination of the color of sugar solutions using ICUMSA methods or analyzing the ammonia content in surface water, waste water, drinking water or aquarium water.

While the Spectroquant® Prove instruments are primarily designed for water analysis they can be used for a variety of applications. The Spectroquant® Prove 300 and 600 have been used to determine the quality of olive oil by determining K values, and the Spectroquant prove 300 can be used to analyze the phosphate and nitrate content in toothpastes. All three Spectroquant®Prove instruments have been used for several different analyses of chlorophyll in surface water as well as nitrate content analysis with clear reliable results.

Three models to suit your needs

  • The Spectroquant® Prove 100 is a smart VIS spectrophotometer for applications such as wastewater analysis; it provides fast, easy and reliable results with direct insertion of cell tests and over 180 pre-programmed test kits. The Spectroquant® Prove 100 has a unique Cell Test Port allowing direct insertion of cell tests, saving you time and maximizing efficiency.
  • The Spectroquant® Prove 300 is a robust UV/VIS spectrophotometer designed for sensitive measurement such as drinking water analysis, with automatic reagent tests for secure measurement off sensitive parameters like sulfate and manganese. Free pre-programmed application procedures are provided such as analysis of bromate in drinking water. The Spectroquant® Prove 300 is compatible with 10, 20 or 50 mm cuvettes to suit a variety of measuring ranges.
  • The Spectroquant® Prove 600 is a powerful UV/VIS spectrophotometer for detecting the lowest possible levels of impurities. As well as being compatible with 10, 20 and 50 mm cells, the Prove 600 is also compatible with 100 mm formats for increased sensitivity. Application using the 100 mm cells include measurement of silicate in process water and iron in drinking water.

All three Spectroquant® Prove instruments come with Live ID, a data-rich identification system to detect the method, lot number, expiry date and calibration updates. The Spectroquant® Prove instruments also have a smart screen with a clear display of the data and multiple methods of filtering and exporting it. The Spectroquant® Prove 300 and 600 instruments come with AQA Prime for analytical quality assurance, which allows the user to have a clear overview of AQA status, information, updates and options. Settings and measurements can be selected for each AQA and it provides verification and documentation for all stages of quality control.

Whatever your application, Spectroquant® Prove makes water analysis more efficient than ever.
