Syringes Designed Specifically for Neuroscientists Studying Animal Brain Function and Diseases
1 Nov 2012Hamilton Company has designed a new tool that is helping neuroscientists solve a critical challenge in animal research studies. The company's new Neuros™ Syringes are the only available syringes specifically designed to minimize injection site damage during controlled animal brain injections.
Neuroscientists have cited this as one of their largest concerns because the effects observed in an experiment often results from injecting the animal and not from the sample or compound introduction.
The device is the smallest dispense volume in the industry and the finest needle to mitigate this important concern. No other syringe accurately dispenses volumes as low as 50 nL through such an ultra-thin gauge needle while maintaining precision and minimizing site damage.
