Tecan at LabAutomation 2006

13 Jan 2006

Tecan, one of the world’s leading players in the growing life sciences industry, and its sister company REMP, will be demonstrating a full range of products for genomics, proteomics, drug discovery and clinical diagnostic applications at the LabAutomation 2006 show, booths 305 (Tecan) and 348 (REMP), Palm Springs Convention Center, California, from 21 to 25 January.

Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to see Tecan’s Freedom EVO® 150 and 200 automated liquid handling workstations, equipped with one or two eight tip liquid handling (LiHa) arms, multichannel pipetting heads, robotic manipulator (RoMa) arm, plus a variety of flexible application modules and options.

The new Infinite™ 200 series of flexible and upgradeable multi-function microplate readers will be on display with a choice of monochromator or filter system and combining reagent dispensing with several detection modes. The unique modular design allows the Infinite 200 series to be configured to perform absorbance, fluorescence top and bottom, fluorescence polarization and photon-counting luminescence readings in microplate formats, from 6-384 wells, PCR plates and cuvettes.

Additional products displayed will be the GENios™ Pro, a high performance, modular, filter-based multi-function microplate reader with optional injectors, the flexible Safire2™, a modular, fully adjustable monochromator-based multi-function microplate reader and the all new HS 400™ Pro Hybridization Station.
