Thermo Fisher Scientific introduces the Thermo Scientific Pierce Graphite Spin Columns for the purification of phosphopeptides. The Pierce® Graphite Spin Columns more efficiently bind hydrophilic peptides, such as phosphopeptides, over C18 resins, allowing for the removal of urea, salts and other contaminants.

The columns are ideal for improving mass spectrometric (MS) analyses of samples from protein digests, strong-cation exchange fractions and enriched phosphopeptides eluted from TiO2 and immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC) columns and tips.

With the Pierce Graphite Spin Columns, phosphopeptides can be desalted, concentrated and eluted in 10 minutes, with recoveries of up to 100 micorgrams of hydrophilic peptides per column. The ready-to-use spin column format allows for the simultaneous processing of multiple samples.

The Pierce Graphite Spin Columns are supplied in packages of 30 columns. The columns are easily stored at room temperature and have a shelf life of one year.
