Thermo Fisher Scientific Introduces Advanced Thermostats for its Next-Gen Temperature Control Systems at ACS Fall Meeting and Exposition
17 Aug 2009Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc., the world leader in serving science, today announced a new thermostat option for its line of Thermo Scientific next-generation temperature control systems. Users can now match a Thermo Scientific Advanced or Standard series thermostat with the appropriate Thermo Scientific heated or refrigerated bath to meet specific application requirements, assuring quality results while saving operating expense. The products will be showcased in booth 2400 at the ACS Fall 2009 Exposition in Washington, D.C. from August 16-19.
The Advanced series of thermostats provides all the leading features of the currently available Standard series of thermostats plus multi-level turbulence controls, programmable application temperature alarms, user-selected automatic shut-off protection and additional capabilities. “The added functionality makes these advanced thermostats ideal for closed- and open-loop applications, chemical reaction management, rotary evaporators and spectroscopy,” said Reid Poole, the product line manager. “We’ve combined innovative technology with flexible configuration to deliver outstanding temperature control solutions for these challenging applications while saving users energy and operational expense,” he added.
All Thermo Scientific temperature control systems feature a new user interface and quick-start guide for easy set-up and operation. The product line, which is comprised of the Sahara series (heated bath circulators), Arctic series (refrigerated bath circulators) and Glacier series (ultra-low refrigerated circulators) is UL/CSA compliant for safe operation and is covered by a 3-year warranty.
