Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, now offers an ELISA kit for rapid identification of mouse antibodies. With the Thermo Scientific Pierce Rapid ELISA Mouse mAb Isotyping Kit, researchers can identify mouse immunoglobulin class, subclass and light chain in approximately one hour.

This rapid protocol is considerably faster than traditional ELISA kits but maintains a high signal-to-noise ratio. The assay accurately characterizes antibodies from hybridoma cell culture supernatants and ascites fluid, as well as purified antibodies.

The Pierce® Rapid ELISA Mouse mAb Isotyping Kit uses an 8-well strip format, with individual wells pre-coated with anti-mouse heavy-chain capture antibody (anti-IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, IgA and IgM) or anti-mouse light-chain capture antibody (kappa or lambda). This eliminates the need to purify and immobilize an antigen for isotyping. Results can be assessed visually or measured quantitatively at 450 nm using a standard ELISA plate reader.

The cost-effective kit includes pre-coated plates, detecting antibody, buffers, and TMB substrate and stop solutions, with sufficient reagents to isotype 60 mouse monoclonal antibodies.
