Thermo Fisher Scientific Showcases Complete Water-Purification System at Analytica 2008
1 Apr 2008Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, will demonstrate at Analytica 2008 the most comprehensive line of laboratory water-purification systems available from one company. The Thermo Scientific Barnstead High Purity Lab Water Systems feature state-of-the-art purification technologies, integrated within ergonomic, user-friendly designs, to provide scientists with high-purity water for critical analytical and research applications, including molecular biology and cell culture in life science. These new water-purification solutions will be showcased at the Thermo Scientific booth 105/204, Hall B1 at Analytica 2008, being held in Munich, Germany, from April 1-4.
The Barnstead NANOpure® water system offers a unique combination of reliable, ultrapure water with easy operation and maintenance and low operating cost. Our application-specific models utilize cartridge packs tailored for specific feed water types and end uses. They provide the ideal water for the most sensitive requirements, including: IC, ICP/MS, HPLC, GC/MS, HPLC and TOC determinations. These advanced systems produce water that consistently achieves 18.2 megohm-cm resistivity and TOC (Total Organic Carbon) values of < 1 ppb. Our high-capacity cartridge packs, filters and UV lamps save up to 50% in annual operating costs. Furthermore, accurate TOC monitoring is available on all systems.
Providing purified water for general lab use, the Barnstead DIamond™ RO reverse osmosis system is easy to operate and maintain. This system combines multiple purification steps in a single unit, incorporating the latest advances in both pre-treatment and membrane technologies.
Our wide selection of distillation equipment includes glass stills, bi-distillers, electric and steam powered classic stills and cabinetized units. We also offer a range of storage reservoirs.
In addition, our experienced technical support team offers advice and troubleshooting, along with services such as a cartridge recycling program and technical application briefs to validate specific contaminant removal.
