Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. today announced the release of the Thermo Scientific AssayAssure sample collection, transport and storage products. AssayAssure™ is one of the most flexible, widely applicable and longest-acting universal preservatives currently available and it is compatible with the broadest range of cellular, bacterial and viral targets.

It utilizes a unique chemical formulation to protect sample components from cell death and molecular degradation without refrigeration. Ideal for collecting a range of environmental, food safety, forensic and biomedical swab samples, AssayAssure can also be used with containers for urine, molecular urine and microbial samples.
