Titian Software Exhibits at SLAS 2012

30 Jan 2012

Titian Software will be exhibiting its renowned modular sample management software, Mosaic™, at the Society for Laboratory Automation & Screening (SLAS) conference and exhibition, 4th – 8th February, San Diego, California. Edmund Wilson, CEO, Titian Software Ltd and Michael Girardi, President, Titian Software Inc., will be at the Titian Booth #639 to discuss with delegates their specific sample management requirements, and options for resolving their issues using the industry-respected Mosaic software. Delegates who would like to set up a meeting in advance should email angela.cunniff@titian.co.uk.

Mosaic sample management software allows compounds and biological samples to be efficiently tracked and monitored within any sample storage and handling system. Chosen by 13 out of the Top 20 bio-pharma companies, Mosaic has proven to streamline sample management processes in small and large operations, including centralized and decentralized sample banks.

Mosaic minimizes human error in sample preparation and simplifies operations within the lab, while improving sample preservation. The software tracks vials, microtubes and plates, and implements a chain of custody for the handling of the sample according to the requested order type. Many sample types are managed simultaneously, with configurable details such as freeze-thaw cycles recorded against containers, and sample consent parameters recorded against individual samples. Order status is closely monitored to track the success or failure of each step in the ordering process, creating a full audit trail of actions for reference.
