Viaflo Corporation will be exhibiting in booth numbers 1534 and 1536 at the annual American Society for Cell Biology in San Diego this December and will focus its exhibit on liquid handling devices dedicated to cell culture applications. The company will seize this opportunity to launch two new exciting products, the VOYAGER six channel adjustable spacing pipettor and the VACUSAFE aspiration system from INTEGRA.

The new VOYAGER six channel adjustable spacing pipettor is devoted to sample transfers between 24, 48, 96 well cell culture plates. This new six channel Voyagers are available in volume ranges of 10 – 300ul and 50 - 1250ul and both have adjustable tip spacing from 9.0mm to 19.5mm.

The two six channel Voyager models are an extension of Viaflo’s already popular line of electronic adjustable spacing pipettors. The Voyager pipettors are also available in eight and twelve channel models. These electronic adjustable spacing pipettors are used for transferring samples between a variety of labware. The most popular include transfers between 24, 48, 96, 384 well plates, gel boxes and tube racks. All Voyager models will be on display at ASCB.

The second highlight of the exhibit will be the new VACUSAFE aspiration systems from INTEGRA. This product was developed for laboratories that need to utilize an existing supply of vacuum while benefiting from the many advantages that this internationally popular product features. The new design, without integrated vacuum pump, has been priced to be affordable for all laboratories.

The compact VACUSAFE makes aspiration of hazardous liquids very safe, user-friendly and flexible. Unlike most "home-made" aspiration systems, the VACUSAFE has several important safety features like the liquid level sensor and the two hydrophobic filters that block potentially dangerous aerosols. A new handle makes the carrying and emptying of the VACUSAFE waste bottle even easier than before. With a wide range of adapters, removal of liquids is possible from virtually any container.
