Tomy will demonstrate the Portable MX Series Centrifuges featuring the Rack-In-Rotor System. These portable models offer extremely fast cooling and excellent temperature control at high speeds while its portable design frees valuable bench space. The Rack-in-Rotor feature is a lightweight, Carbon Fiber Rotor system that offers three levels of capacity ranging from microtubes only, to 15/50 ml conical tubes or 96-well PCR plates. With the two and three level Rack-in-Rotors it is possible to stack microtube rotor/racks to effectively double or triple your capacity. It is even possible to mix microtube racks to spin different sized tubes simultaneously.

The Rack/Rotor parts of the system are made of polypropylene and are autoclavable. Racks are designed to drop into the Carbon Fiber Shell with no need to secure. This makes swapping racks fast and easy. This feature also saves time in handling large quantities of tubes because the rack can also act as a carrier from the centrifuge to the bench.
