Vitl Life Science Solutions Expands Range of Intelligent Heated Modules
2 Sept 2018Vitl Life Science Solutions, a member of the ITL Group, has announced the expansion of its range of interchangeable, intuitive Heated Modules, which will be available from the end of September 2018.
Vitl’s Heated Modules are accessories required to operate the Ther-Mix Heated Mixer and Flexi-Therm Dry Block Heater. HM04 and HM05 are the newest additions to the range, maintaining their unrivalled reputation of exceptional temperature accuracy and efficient sample heating.
Ideal for use in a wide range of preparation techniques, Vitl’s current range of Heated Modules can accommodate 0.5ml, 1.5ml and 2ml microcentrifuge tubes, as well as 96 and 384 well microplates. New modules, HM04 and HM05, have been specifically designed to hold 15ml and 50ml conical tubes, with various module variants to be designed in the near future to accommodate a wider variety of consumables.
With on-board intelligence and extensive memory capabilities, the Heated Modules eliminate the need to stand over samples, manually switching different mixing speed and temperatures within a protocol, therefore providing the freedom to increase lab efficiency. All modules in the range offer quick selection options and are programmed with self-limiting mixing speeds and temperature settings for ultimate user-safety and sample care. With superior programming functionality users are able to fully customise, create and store their profiles, even if the module is moved between the Ther-Mix and Flexi-Therm.
