HORIBA Jobin Yvon is proud to announce its partnership with GenOptics for the worldwide distribution of SPRi-Lab+™ and SPRi-Plex™.

Surface Plasmon Resonance imaging (SPRi) is a technique which allows the measurement of the adsorption of DNA and protein. It feautures rapid quantification and monitoring of biomolecular interactions in the laboratory. It is possible to study a series of up to 400 label-free bindings in multiplex, which enables simultaneous measurements of all reactions to be observed on a biochip surface throughout the entire analysis.

In a single experiment different parameters can be studied and compared. It is possible to measure the association rate, dissociation rate, affinity constant, surface coverage (pg/mm2) in multiplex array format. These parameters can be studied for all surfaces (up to 400) grafted on the biochip.

Applications range from the monitoring of DNA-DNA, protein-DNA, protein-ligand or peptide-ligand interactions in the fields of drug discovery process, early diagnosis, biosecurity, or therapeutic antibodies.
