Zymo Research will be announcing the launch of its ZymoPURE EndoZero™ and ZymoPURE Express™ Kits at SfN 2016, booth 129. Researchers who need to purify up to 1.2 mg of high quality ultra-endotoxin-free plasmid DNA can do so in under 20 minutes with the ZymoPURE EndoZero™ Kit. The kit incorporates unique EndoZero™ spin-columns to reduce endotoxin levels down to ultra-low 0.025 EU/µg of plasmid DNA, at seven-times the speed of competing kits. ZymoPURE™ technology uses a modified alkaline lysis method, and features novel binding chemistry that yields highly concentrated plasmid DNA (up to 3 µg/µl). The isolated plasmid DNA is ideal for transfection, restriction endonuclease digestion, in vivo studies, bacterial transformation, PCR amplification, DNA sequencing, and other sensitive downstream applications.

In addition to ZymoPURE EndoZero™, the ZymoPURE Express™ Plasmid Midiprep Kit will be unveiled at the conference. A further refinement of the ZymoPURE™ line, this kit can isolate high quality endotoxin-free plasmid DNA directly from culture; going from culture to isolated plasmid in only 15 minutes. Using novel alkaline lysis technology ZymoPURE Express™ can purify up to 1.2 mg of high-quality endotoxin-free plasmid DNA directly from the culture, without pelleting and resuspension steps. Innovative binding chemistry enables highly concentrated (up to 1.5 µg/µl) DNA to be eluted directly from the microcentrifuge column. Purified plasmid DNA is ideal for transfection, restriction endonuclease digestion, bacterial transformation, PCR amplification, DNA sequencing, and other sensitive downstream applications.

Completing the standard product family, which already contains a midi, maxi, and giga format, the ZymoPURE™ Miniprep Kit will also be released. This new kit is unrivaled in its performance, yielding up to 80 µg of ultra-pure and highly concentrated (up to 3 µg/µl), plasmid DNA. Speed is not sacrificed for quality, taking only 15 minutes to complete. Eluted plasmid DNA is ready for immediate use, avoiding the need for subsequent precipitation steps. Syringe filters are included for rapid lysate clearing and the unique spin-column design allows the binding step to be performed using a vacuum or centrifuge. The resulting purified plasmid DNA ideal for transfection, restriction endonuclease digestion, bacterial transformation, PCR amplification, DNA sequencing, and other sensitive downstream applications.
