Started in 2001, we are on a never-ending quest to advance genetic technology and life-saving gene therapy. We are singularly focused on a goal to erase genetic disease. Almost 40 years ago, AskBio’s scientific co-founder, Jude Samulski, PhD, was the first to demonstrate that adeno-associated virus (AAV) could be cloned for therapeutic purposes. His groundbreaking research propelled the most exciting field in medical research today. His work inspires our world-leading gene therapy platform that is bringing new therapeutics to market and resulting in new methods for lowering the cost of delivery.
