Sample preparation
These 40mL vials from Mercedes Scientific have the best price I could find. Acceptable quality compared to our previous supplier (VWR) at approximately 60% cost. The septa in the vial caps are slightly loose (before capping the vial) and I've noticed that a few septa have a slightly greasy feel (I assume this is a plasticizer), but this is not a problem for our applications. If your lab goes through a lot of vials and you're looking to save some money on consumables, I'd recommend giving these a try.
