Clinical laboratory - osmolality measurement of serum/plasma and urine
The A2O has been very reliable and consistent. It aids in efficient workflow thanks to staff being able to load and run multiple samples at one time. We have experienced minimal downtime and the one repair that was necessary was handled quickly. We have received excellent support during training and troubleshooting from Advanced Instruments. We are happy to have upgraded to this model!

Problem with homing and x axis motor error
I am a Biomed and I was called because of x-axis motor and homing errors. Also the control would not come in. Tech support (Mike) helped me for two hours on this with no result. I am going to have someone do a flat rate repair.

The instrument has a rather large footprint, as was much larger than anticipated. It's user friendly, which made training relatively simple and reproducibility is very good. The only area of concern is that Advanced Instruments needs to establish a Quality Control peer group to be able to use the QC products that are suggested.

Osmometer serum and urine
The most reliable osmometer we've ever used. We recently purchased another unit, the same model as what we have (purchased >10 years ago). Maintenance is easy, quick, saves time. Very economical, QC's are always good including the standard 290 (within range, every run).
