Application Area:

Analyze xenogenes in tissue samples

I appreciate the ease of the sale, we bought this through Fisher and they coordinated everything. We have been impressed by the after the sale support in setup and training. I love that we will have training included so that everyone will be on the same page with the new instrument and that we will not have to rely on one person to teach the rest of us how to use this machine.

Reproducible and easy to use.

Average Rating 5.0

Application Area:

Optical density, fluorescence

User-friendly, portable. The small size and multiple applications make it best choice since Synergy Lx Multi-Mode Microplate Reader. It's user-friendly and most importantly, it can easily fit in any biosafety cabinet if required to measure any infectious agent in BSL3 labs

DNA quality and quantity in one machine!

Average Rating 5.0

Application Area:

DNA Quantitation for SNP analysis

The Synergy LX Multi-Mode allowed my clinical laboratory to test for DNA purity and quantity on the same equipment, which has in the past been 2 pieces of equipment. The Gen5 software was a little different to navigate but tech support was great in helping me find my issues in my templates for fluorescence readings. The Synergy LX was easy to use, provides reproducible results, and is a great buy for a clinical laboratory.

Excellent device

Average Rating 4.3

Application Area:

Analyzing various chemical assays in the chemistry lab

Synergy LX multimode plate reader is a good device at affordable price with the option to upgrade to fluorescence at a later stage if you do not have enough budget. I use the device for absorbance measurement and is really a good payment for my work. The absorbance values are repeatable. One thing I do not like about the device is that, it takes a long time when measuring spectral scanning at the highest possible resolution of 1 nm. I waste time if I have to carry out spectral scanning from 200 to 700 nm at this resolution. Besides this, it is a perfect device.

Application Area:

Antioxidant enzymes activity, DNA analyses, protein assays and other fluorescent cell viability

A rugged machine with cheap price as compared to other machines with same functions. With high quality results. I recommend it for use by others.
