Allegra X-14R Refrigerated Benchtop Centrifuge
Meet your evolving application needs with the refrigerated model
Used for PCR protocols especially for sequencing
The product is very good as we bought it few years ago for our newly developed molecular diagnostic laboratory. Although we have centrifuges from another brand this is very user friendly and environment friendly. The programming is very easy and understandable. The working is excellent as compared with others. We have not needed any after sale services yet but the distributor repute is good for such matters. It gives full value of money.

We have the X-15R. The sales rep (Philip Tendler) was very knowledgeable and sent my quote in a timely manner. When dealing with government funds that are here now, gone tomorrow, time is of the essence and I really appreciate that. The unit works very well; it cools down rapidly and the control panel is easy to use (very intuitive). My only con is that the lid takes some effort to push closed and since ours sits on a bench that is slightly high, it's hard for shorter statured persons to get it closed (not my personal problem, but I've seen it with my co-workers). Otherwise, great piece of equipment and I would highly recommend.

It is a little loud, but generally good value for money. Very useful in the lab and is an invaluable tool. It is worth consideration.

Beckman Coulter’s Allegra X-14R
The best swinging bucket in the industry comes with a Free Microfuge.
If you operate a high-throughput lab, get to know the Allegra X-14R, 3 liter benchtop centrifuge. Able to process up to 148 tubes per cycle, this centrifuge delivers maximum performance and cost-effective versatility through a wide variety of available rotors, tubes, bottles, and accessories; all in a convenient 120-volt package.
With a powerful, built-in refrigeration system, the X-14R cools more quickly and maintains temperature even at maximum speed. The ARIES Smart Balance Rotor System automatically detects and corrects up to 50 grams of imbalance, which not only reduces mid-run interruptions to save you time, but also helps to minimize instrument wear and tear. BioCertified† rotors, covers, and canisters are tested to ensure potentially harmful aerosols are contained, maintaining safety in the lab.
