Application Area:

Cultivation of anaerobic microbes

Best option out there for anaerobic and microoxic chambers! Leader in the field in my opinion. Been using their chambers for 6 years; currently have 7 anaerobic chambers and 2 hard case microoxic chambers. Essential for cultivation and growth of various kinds of gut bacteria that we study. Their sales and support team is GREAT. Super responsive, have had answers at all our troubleshooting problems, and a field rep comes to help install every new chamber you purchase. They are easy to assemble though, once you do it a few times. Part replacements are reasonably priced, but overall the chambers last a long time if you take care of them!

Bactron I

The Bactron I is an ideal first anaerobic chamber, with a 395L workspace and 100 plate capacity incubator. Specifically designed for use by smaller laboratories, it can also serve as an economical set-up for larger labs.

Bactron systems have airtight construction of stainless steel and rigid Plexiglas for unobstructed vision and integrity. The patented cuffs form a comfortable seal around the operators arms permitting bare hand manipulation of plates and specimens inside the working chamber, making work more comfortable and efficient.

Chamber atmosphere circulates through a condensate controller then through a catalyst which removes any trace amounts of oxygen. High relative humidity is maintained while condensate moisture is removed without the unnecessary dessicants, which can dehydrate media and samples. Each unit comes standard with an integral vacuum pump to provide rapid evacuation of air from the air lock module for replacement by inert gas mixture.

With the exception of gas, everything that is needed for operation is included with purchase, even installation.

Bactron II

An economical anaerobic environment system with air lock, 480L workspace and a 200 plate capacity incubator allows the Bactron II to deliver optimum productivity in a compact space. The operator has total command of the work area, yet enjoys ample bench space for efficient performance of all procedures requiring an anaerobic atmosphere.

Bactron III

The Bactron IV system permits volume handling of anaerobic cultures with maximum operator comfort. With a 17 cu.ft workspace and 600 plate capacity incubator, it is the largest, most complete anaerobic environmental system available. It is designed for high volume, yet requires far less bench space than expected for its capacity and performance features.

Bactron X

The Bactron X is designed to provide 480L of workspace and gloveless dexterity in closed environment industrial, research and development, quality control and packaging applications. Atmospheres of nitrogen, CO2, or any other inert gas are possible.
