Love the ease of testing.
Test for SARS-CoV-2 virus by PCR
The Aries platform has been extremely simple to use. The instrument is completely self contained with a computer built in. Sample is pipetted into sealable cassettes which are loaded into one of 2 magazines. The magazines are then loaded into the instrument. A barcode reader is used to enter sample and test cassette information and you basically press go. Results are available in 2 hours. Low maintenance. The only drawback at the moment is a supply chain issue because of pandemic shortages of materials.
