Astec® CYCLOBOND™ Chiral HPLC Columns

CYCLOBOND™ is the name given to Astec technology for bonding cyclodextrins to a high purity silica gel through a stable ether linkage. Introduced in 1983, this patented stationary phase retains ability to form inclusion complexes, and allows for numerous chemical separations by selectively including into the cyclodextrin cavity, from solution, a wide variety of organic molecules. CYCLOBOND™ I are β-cyclodextrin bonded and CYCLOBOND™ II are γ-cyclodextrin bonded.
