Used for titration process

A burette is a lab equipment which is used to perform titration. It's easy to use as it is placed vertically with the help of a holder under which a flask is kept. It needs to be handled with care of made of glass. Also it needs to be properly washed before and after use.

Best and easiest low level chlorine analyzer. The operators think this is a godsend.

Average Rating 4.7

Application Area:

Low level residual chlorine in wastewater effluent

Hach has a reputation for durability and ease of use. The AT1000 automatic titrator lives up to this. We use version AT1122.97 set up for low level residual chlorine in final waste water effluent. The amperometric titiration is accurate and the reagents are handled with almost no thought. There are not many options for 0.01 to 0.05 mg/l chlorine analysis but Hach in my opinion has the best and easiest to operate unit. The operators think this unit is a godsend. Note: In humid environments stopper the KI dispenser when not in use to reduce caking.

It is easy to use but the results are sometimes not accurate. No results show up sometimes because calibration is not good/accurate. The response of the instrument is not accurate.

The AT1102 model is an accurate, reliable and easy to use instrument for performing titrations in the laboratory. This titrator was designed in Germany as part of the Hach Titralab® AT1000 family of automatic titrators and includes one burette and two measurement inputs. The titrator is delivered preassembled for easy installation and does not require complex programming like other titration systems on the market. This system offers superb dependability so you don’t suffer from downtime and it is easy to use for all skill levels, reducing operator training and process time. In fact, with an autotitrator the operator will be able to begin preparing the next sample while the instrument is performing the current measurement, thus improving lab throughput. More importantly however, the automatic titrator eliminates manual processes and operator interpretation, significantly improving accuracy and reliability so you can trust your measurements from day to day. If you perform any of the titrations listed in the Application Packs section below this is the instrument for you!

Application Packs
The AT1102 instrument can be used with the following Hach Application Packs:

  • pH & Alkalinity in Water (Hach p/n AP0001.AT1102)
  • pH/Alkalinity & Conductivity (Hach p/n AP0002.AT1102)
  • FOS/TAC - Volatile Acids & Alkalinity in Biogas (Hach p/n AP0006.AT1102)
  • pH & Total Acidity in Wine & Juices (Hach p/n AP0008.AT1102)
