axoCells Human iPSC-Derived Atrial Cardiomyocytes (≥1 million cells) for cardiovascular research. Atrial cardiomyocytes made from iPSCs generated from a 74-year-old male donor's pulmonary fibroblasts.

Key highlights include:

  • Spontaneously beat 3 days post-thaw and assay-ready in just 7 days
  • No evidence of endogenous arrhythmias
  • Demonstrate functional response to atrial-specific compounds including carbachol

These cells are frequently used in in vitro cardiotoxicity models to assess drug safety models and to support testing of irregular and abnormally fast heart rates (including atrial fibrillation). They can also be used in co-culture with other cells (including ventricular cardiomyocytes).
