The DNA Extraction Tube contains a Sample Processing Control sequence from Drosophila melanogaster (GenBank: AC246436; nucleotides 35779 to 35978) cloned in a pUC119 derivative (GenBank: U07650.1). The BD MAX ExK DNA-1 has not been validated for use with any specific test method.
