The BD PrepMate™ automated accessory offers precise automation of specimen transfer as part of the BD cellular enrichment process using BD density reagent. The cell enrichment process removes nondiagnostic components from specimens like blood, mucus and inflammatory cells, minimizing unsatisfactory test results. It predictably mixes, aspirates and dispenses a defined volume of specimen.
