Excellent tool!
Analysis of protein and RNA in whole vascular tissue
Excellent handheld homogenizer that lets you be in control of your samples. A bit more labor intensive than newer technology, however, our yields are not worth sacrificing when it comes to precious samples.

Analyze drug levels in various mammalian tissues
We love how easy it is to change out the generator probes, and the ease of caring for / cleaning them. It's extremely important for us to avoid cross-contamination. We have also had good responses to our inquiries regarding use and maintenance. The price is also fantastic for a quality piece of equipment.

Emulsions for bevarages
It is really easy to use, as it has its 6 levels already stablished, you only have to choose the one you need and press on. All the people working around the product are very attentive and helpful, they provide and excellent service. I have had some problems with the first homogenizer, but I received a very good response from ProScientific. I would definitely buy another one with you. It is not a cheap instrument, but it is worthy to pay for. Great results in a matter of seconds.

use it to mix chemical solutions, mainly ISO
Easy to use The metal bar is surprisingly expansive. And its tip changes color (somehow rusted maybe) after long usage to mix gold acid in Iso. But it still works well.

"This Gold Acid would be nitro-hydrochloric acid, which is a highly corrosive mixture of acids. It can dissolve the noble metals gold and platinum. However, titanium, iridium, ruthenium, rhenium, tantalum, niobium, hafnium, osmium, rhodium and tungsten are capable of withstanding its corrosive properties. According to the Chemical compatibility chart 316 Stainless Steel material cannot withstand it, so this issue would happen with any Homogenizer Brand as we all use 316 Stainless Steel. A custom probe of titanium would be the best option for such a highly corrosive mixture of acids as it can endure the corrosion. 316SS generators have a very high level of chemical compatibility and under most circumstances will not corrode."

The Bio-Gen PRO200 homogenizer unit is ideal for using either type of Multi-Gen generator probes for low-cost repeat homogenization without the risk of cross contamination.
