Breakdown particles to nanometer sizes
We have several Branson Sonicators that have been with us for several years now. I have used these for disrupting microparticles down to 500 nm sizes and also for disrupting cells. The results are very reproducible and very reliable. The Branson Sonicators are very versatile in terms of their applications. Not only have I used them for making nanoparticles and lysing or rupturing cells, I have also used these for cleaning silicon wafer chips with nanometer features. They are excellent for this purpose as well!!! They are very easy to use and are very convenient. There are no handling difficulties at all. These are very reliable and we hardly had any troubles with them that we never had to call for any type of service until now. They are worth every single penny spent in purchasing them!!!
