BSD600 Plus
The BSD600 Plus is the third generation of BSD punchers and will be replaced with the BSD600 Ascent A2 . It is suitable for medium to higher punching throughput and more complicated test sequences. Multiple punching is assisted by the light targeting and pattern punching feature in the software.

A perfectly handy DBS puncher, capable of being modified for many different platforms
Blood spot punching for filter paper lead and hemoglobin
I love this DBS puncher. The software is easy to work with and easily modified to suit any size/depth plate. The LED light is extremely helpful when punching out the spots on the cards and it barcodes in your patient ID/accession number and gives a plate map of the ID'd punches. Very handy for ensuring positive patient identification. The technical specialist also helped develop a program to easily match up the barcoded ID with our Lab IS for transfer of information to our analyzers. Service is excellent - I always get at least a phone call back and/or onsite service when troubleshooting is needed. Very little maintenance is required, also. Overall, a very handy DBS puncher.

Dried blood spot punching for filter paper blood lead
Very high quality workhorse. Spots are lit prior to punching. Ability to barcode in sample data and customize plates to run QC at certain intervals. Saves plate maps and interfaces to our Lab IS que to pull patient demographics, then download into our analyzer. Very easy maintenance, also.
