CHO cell culture analysis
The Roche Cedex Bio is one of the most valuable pieces of equipment in our lab. We use it for daily bioreactor cell culture sample analysis. It gives fast and accurate measurements on the four key factors we track: glucose, glutamine, ammonium, and lactic acid. It also measures human antibody production yield from CHO cells. Essentially, it does everything we need for bioreactor CHO culture and it's very reliable - almost never break-down. As a lab head with years of frustration using membrane based analyzers, the Roche Cedex is light-years ahead in technology and the consumable cost is lower. Our lab was an early adopter, purchased the very first Cedex Bio in the state of CT after it's release 7 years ago, and it's still a workhorse in our cell culture workflow. I highly recommend it.
