Assay Time
Measurements or assay times for the Cellavista are highly dependent on assay layout and application type. In general:
One 96-well plate can be completely analyzed (full well area) within approximately 3.5 minutes (4x objective).
One 384-well plate can be completely analyzed (full well area) within approximately 6.5 minutes (4x objective).
Results
The Cellavista System acquires images from the bottom of the wells of microplates. The images are then analyzed by image analysis algorithms. The results of this analysis are dependent on the application type; a detailed application list is provided in the Cellavista user manual.
Some of the most commonly used applications and parameters include:
• Number of objects per well (e.g., number of cells or number of cell colonies).
• Area covered by the objects.
• Parameters describing the shape and morphology of the objects.
• Size of the individual objects.
• Fluorescent intensity of the objects.
Accuracy
Accuracy is highly dependent on assay conditions (e.g., cell type, plate type, application, and culture media).
Optimum Temperature
+20°C to +28°C
Typical Run Time
Run times are dependent on several parameters. In general:
One 96-well plate can be completely analyzed (full well area) within approximately 3.5 minutes (4x objective).
One 384-well plate can be completely analyzed (full well area) within approximately 6.5 minutes (4x objective).
