Heat Aggregated Gamma Globulin acts as a potent classical complement pathway activator, functioning similarly to naturally occurring immune complexes. When activated by a potent activator, such as Quidel’s Complement Activator, nearly all of the C4 in a given complement source may be converted into cleavage products.

Used as a positive control for cytokine release assay
I worked on a drug candidate which can stimulate cytokine release in immune cell cultures and human whole blood. I had been trying to find a good positive control until I found this one. This product is very easy to use and the result is very robust. I would definitely recommend it to others.
