Analyze ethanol concentration in different samples
It is a very user friendly instrument. The results are pretty accurate. You can easily clean the tube and repeat the experiments. I contacted them to help us to calibrate the instrument, they sent a calibration instruction free of charge.

Analysis of alcoholic beverages
This unit, coupled with their autosampler, is one of the best means of measuring density in alcoholic beverages on the market today. It is easy to use with full computer interface built in - the only one of its kind to do so as best we know. The autosampler cleans the cell chamber U-tube efficiently between each sample run - again a first as best we can tell - meaning clean reliable results for every sample using a low sample volume. Its ease of use and stylish looks are also key features which places it as our go to instrument for measuring high alcohol spirits following distillation or for rapid "as is" density measurements for apparent extract determinations in beverages and current SG values for subsequent parametric calculations. The manufacturer is also aware of factors overlooked by many in the industry when it comes to cross checking ABV (alcohol by volume) and ABW (weight) values and offer the best upfront and back end support on every instrument they supply. We have a working relationship with Rudolph Research and were supplied with a demo instrument but our relationship in no way influenced my basic perceptions and comments above - there are no conflicts of interest in my providing this review. The team seem ready to assist all and have followed constructive criticism from us in tweaking their instrument software to deliver appropriate results to their current clients. Their price point has also influenced their competitor to reduce considerably their own prices thus benefiting many other purchasers of such instruments. They definitely deserve a look at for these type units and other instruments for food, beverage and other industrial use.

Flavor & Fragrance Ingredients
I purchased this instrument three years ago as a replacement for a failing instrument. I have used similar instruments from Anton Paar and MT but this instrument is, by far, the least problematic. I have had zero issues in three years even though it is primarily used for measuring sulfuric acid concentration. Support and pricing are great and they are made in the USA. What else can I say?

Analysis of oil/hexane mixtures
Rudolph's density meter has not only been reliable and easy-to-use for some 4 years now, the service and support from Rudolph has proven quick and knowledgeable about the equipment. We had an issue with temperature control once that tech support identified from a one sentence description. The fix was simple and straightforward and the system is working as easily as ever.
