The majority of samples may be immediately lysed with Proteinase K, avoiding mechanical disruption and saving time on manual operations. Purification of high-quality DNA for applications such as life sciences, genotyping, and pathogen research in veterinary medicine is made possible by optimised methods for each sample type. I've personally used this kit in my research for detecting the minute quantity of porcine remains in complexed food samples, which needs to be further analyzed and sequenced through NGS.

DNA extraction of tissues samples for quantification
I use this product for DNA extraction of cartilaginous tissues. This is a simple kit that is easy to use with standard laboratory equipment. I obtain results with quality and reproducibility. The kit can be used for several samples, so the quantity/quality relation is acceptable.

Super kit for difficult samples
DNA extraction of coral tissue
We used the Qiagen DNeasy Blood & Tissue kit for coral tissue. We often had difficulties with other extraction methods. There were often too many inhibitors in the eluate, which meant that the downstream processes such as PCR, qPCR and NGS did not work properly. But since we've been using Qiagen's slightly more expensive kit, we don't even have to dilute the DNAs unless too much genetic material has been extracted.
