Good communication from team

Average Rating 4.0

Application Area:

Water digestion, pharmaceutical product digestion

I find that the TFM vessels leach out metals after a certain amount of use. I am in contact with the team to see what we can do about this issue and so far the team have quick response times and are helpful.

Successful digestion/ downside time to close and open vessels

Average Rating 3.0

Application Area:

Food and water and sediment digestion

We have been using the microwave system for many years and successfully decomposed food, water and sediment samples . However, there is a little downside on the technical part. In routine sample prep it takes some time to close and open digestion vessels.

Excellent option for sample preparation.

Average Rating 4.0

Application Area:

Digestion of food and environmental samples

It is a useful equipment, it optimizes time of sample preparation, The fact that it has a tool that let me know when segments are properly closed, give it a plus. In general is an excellent equipment, the only think I suggest to improve is to maintain the power to extend it's useful life.

High efficiency and High throughoutput

Average Rating 4.0

Application Area:

Ambiental and Food/Feed Radiochemistry

The microwave oven we use has solved the safety and speed problems in routine analysis. This has also allowed us to considerably reduce the quantities of radioactive acid waste that must be disposed of as highly hazardous waste, going from 150 ml of classical methods to only 9 ml per sample. The final result is always a highly homogeneous and residue-free solution, using a HNO3/H2O2/HF mixture.

Easy to use, but has several limitations

Average Rating 3.0

Application Area:

Testing laboratory

The device is relatively easy to use, but it has several limitations. For example, the temperature monitoring thermometer (ATC) is often difficult to position. Additionally, messages appear regarding the temperature, without clarifying whether the cause is the ATC or another component. The ATC wears out relatively quickly, increasing operating costs. The vessels are sealed with a special key, whereas it would be more practical to seal them by hand. We have encountered incidents of explosions in the samples, without being able to identify the cause. Problems have also occurred in some electronic parts of the device. Although there is a cookbook with the digestion conditions, these conditions are often repeated between samples, causing confusion.

Practical and friendly

Average Rating 4.0

Application Area:

Soils, waters, and foliars/ Suelos, aguas y foliares

The equipment is very user friendly, maybe consider that the rotor is dual to work with different pressures and the applicability of the methods is higher.
