A lyophilized reagent bead is an excellent cost-effective option for assay reagent corporation. EVIK DxSpheres are incredibly convenient, and in many cases provide the only means to deliver microgram quantities of dry assay reagent into rapid assay devices such as disposable microfluidic cartridges, or custom POC assay devices. Assay reagent components can be converted into robust beads with precise weight, size, and shape. DxSpheres can be dispensed in a high-speed automated process taking only a second to pick up a single DxSphere from the bulk tray and placing it inside the cartridge or custom assay device.
